Road Less Traveled Productions has unveiled the newest addition to its extra-seasonal entertainment line-up. According to Scott Behrend, RLTP's Artistic Director, Celebrity Autobiography @ Rohall's Corner* will be a weekly comedy series devoted to the "outrageous foibles of the celebrity class" – as represented in the words of the celebrities themselves.

Celebrity Autobiography @ Rohall's Corner* will feature a rotating roster of local performers reading carefully selected passages from "only the most" juicy, scandalous, and jaw-dropping celebrity memoirs. The program will also offer special guest appearances by very real local celebrities, lampooning their "more famous yet much less respectable" national counterparts, said Behrend.

The one-hour comedy revue debuted at 8 PM on Saturday, July 7th, and continues weekly Saturday nights. Celebrity Autobiography @ Rohall's Corner* takes place at Rohall's Corner (540 Amherst Street, Buffalo, NY); admission is only $10.

"It's exciting to be a part of bringing more culture and live events to an up-and-coming neighborhood like Black Rock," Behrend said.

Each installment of Celebrity Autobiography @ Rohall's Corner* will be hosted by Pat Kewley, a local writer and visual artist, with the assistance of Stage Manager and performer Steven Brachmann. The cast will also include Sarah Jane Barry, Jamie Bono, Diane McNamara, Kelly Moore, Dan Morris, Shayna Raichilson-Zadok, and Adam Yellen.

Host and Director Kewley is carefully identifying selections from his "immense library of countless celebrity autobiographies" for presentation by his ensemble. "We live in an age where there are more celebrities than ever before, and these celebrities are producing more printed matter than ever before," said Kewley.

"These 'household names' thought that we cared about their struggles and triumphs," added Brachmann. "We don't - not even a little bit - but we will gladly exploit their stories for the amusement of the public!"

"There is nothing else out there quite like this show," opined Kewley. "What are Mr. T's thoughts on illegal immigration? How hard is Vanilla Ice, really? Only one comedy show in Buffalo has the answers!"
